Holland Road Baptist Church

Our Practical Team aims to serve those who are in need in our community.

The team was created during the Covid-19 pandemic as the church wanted to show the love of Jesus to the people of Brighton and Hove. We gathered volunteers and started to meet the practical needs of those around us.

Our team is here to stay. We know that as ordinary people we all need help sometimes, and we want to continue to stand with people facing difficulties in our city. So this is a team for those that need help and those that want to give help.

Need help

If you, or someone you know, needs help with something then please let us know and we’ll do our best to help.

Get in touch with us via the next step form or call us on 01273 732111 and we’ll get back to you.

Give help

There’s a huge number of ways you could help – including practical, creative and financial ways.

You can find out more, or join our team, here.

If you’re interested in giving financially – you can find out more about supporting the ongoing work of the church here.

As we serve the city we do it in partnership with other agencies and churches: Christians Against Poverty (CAP)Brighton Light Trust, BHCM, St Mungos, The Passage, Just LifeNeighbourly.com, Brighton and Hove food partnership.

Our team verse: “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2 v 10
