World Week begins on Sunday 11th June and we have a great programme for the week:

Sunday 11th

  • Morning Service (10:30am-12pm). A great time for the church family to hear from several of our mission partners who will be visiting. There will be a special world mission children’s talk too.
  • Extended Coffee Time (12:15pm-1pm). Stay for ‘world-flavoured refreshments’ and an opportunity to connect with World Mission through four short seminars with mission partners. One of these will be family friendly.
  • Encounter (6:15pm-8pm). All are welcome as our team of teens and twenties lead us in worship and prayer for the world. Tyler Evenson, Canadian missionary will be speaking.

Monday 12th

  • Prayer for the Persecuted Church (6:45pm-8pm). Join the Iranian church for worship in Farsi and English and join together in prayer for the persecuted church family around the world.

Tuesday 13th

  • Tuesday Afternoon Fellowship (2:30pm-3:30pm). Join our weekly informal service, with tea and cake from 2pm, and hear testimonies from some of our mission partners.
  • Refugee Camp Experience (2pm – 7:30pm). Visit our mock up refugee camp as we use ‘Open Doors’ resources (based in tents) to try to imagine what it’s like to experience some of the harsh realities of life as a fleeing and persecuted Christian. Suitable for families.

Wednesday 14th

  • United International Café (7:30pm – 9:30pm). You’re invited to join the United team for an evening as they welcome international students to the city. Training and prayer starts at 7pm. It’s a ‘bring & share’ world cuisines night, so please bring a dish and let us know you’re coming.
  • Refugee Camp Experience (2pm – 9:30pm). Details same as Tuesday.

Thursday 15th
